Our latest Listen.Better interview – A Decade of Hope&Glory: – is with Jo Carr, Co-founder and Chief Client Officer, Hope&Glory.

I have watched Jo and her team’s progress over the years, a promising startup when I left 3 Monkeys back in 2011.  Jo is known in the comms sector as a people person and that shines through in this 16 minute interview.  It was great to catch up with this tour de force and hear the highlights and lowlights of her ten years at the helm of a truly great consumer PR agency.

We asked:

Q1. Can you sum up the agency highlights and lowlights of the last decade?

Q2. What have you learned about yourself as a leader in that time and then more specifically over the last 12 months during the pandemic?

Q3. How do you say top of game for so long and not allow a slide to mediocrity?

Q4. Tell me about creativity and how it´s embedded in the team and maintained to produce an ongoing cabinet full of industry trophies over the years?

Q5. How is your team feeling about transitioning to new normal?

Q6. What will the next 10 years look like for PR and H&G in particular?

Q7. Can you give us a sneak preview of your upcoming talk you will be giving at Provoke Cannes Condensed in Brighton on 24/6?
